Chapter 22: "Welcome Home"
Chapter 22: "Welcome Home"
(The Permission to Be Fully Human—and Still Holy)
Quote:
"You will be too much for some people. Those aren’t your people." — Glennon Doyle
Verse:
Isaiah 58:12 (ESV)
"And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in."
— A sacred calling for cycle breakers and soul restorers.
Anchored Truth:
Rebirth is not a moment. It’s a rhythm. A return. A shedding and a remembering
We are not meant to be perfect—we are meant to be real. This chapter is your permission slip to be messy and sacred. To cry and rejoice. To doubt and believe. To still have hard days and be wildly, radically loved by God.
You are remembering. You are arriving. You are healing. You are coming home.
Glimpse of the Story:
There was a morning I woke up and felt no urge to explain myself. No ache to prove my worth. No need to convince anyone to see me.
I just was.
That day I made coffee. I lit a candle. I smiled at the mirror and whispered, "I love you."
That day, I was reborn—not into someone new, but into someone finally free to be.
Prayer / Love Note:
God,
Thank You for loving every version of me. Thank You for the journey, the fire, the fight—and the peace that followed.
I am not who I was. I am not what they called me. I am Yours.
And I’m finally home. Stay alive. Don’t give up. You are needed. You are wanted. You are not alone. Keep going. I love you and I am there with you. Begin again. I love you always and forever.
Amen.
Reflection & Encouragement:
Let today be the day you stop chasing wholeness and start living in it.
You are not a project to fix. You are a soul to honor.
You are not broken. You are reborn.
Welcome home.
