Empath’s Protection Prayer-Precatio

God of light,
wrap me in stillness.
Not the stillness of silence—
but the stillness that knows I am held.

Guard this vessel.
Seal every crack with gold.
Let no darkness pass through me
that is not mine to transform.

May the pain of others pass through
and be sent to You—
for healing,
for repurposing,
for peace.

Let no voice, no energy, no shadow
claim space in my spirit
unless You invite it.

Protect my sleep.
Anchor my soul.
Strengthen my boundaries,
so that I may walk in love
without being consumed by suffering.

Make me soft,
but not shattered.
Open,
but not invaded.
Holy,
but human.

And when I am too tired to pray,
let this song become my shield.

Amen.
