Misericordia — Mercy for the People

If you’ve felt unseen, unheard, or too far gone — listen.
You are not forgotten.
Mercy still calls your name.

We live in a world oversaturated with media, sadness, hatred, division, and pain.

Let’s change that.
Let’s pray.

It’s easy to be overwhelmed or to feel powerless in the face of what we see every day.
But I’m telling you — we can make a difference.
And we must.

My heart hurts for us as a nation of people.
I cannot turn off my heart and pretend I don’t see my brothers and sisters hurting.
My pain is your pain. My joy is your joy.

I’m pleading — not scolding:

Stop hating. Stop hurting. Stop complaining. Start praying.

Pray for ourselves.
Pray for our leaders.
Pray for our people.

Believe with me that our prayers will reach Heaven while there is still time.

Lord, have mercy on Your people; heal the heart of our nation.

"Mercy can still flow through this land — if we will stop hating, stop hurting, stop complaining… and start praying together."

A Prayer for Mercy

Lord,
We lift to You every soul who has been pushed aside,
every life deemed “too messy” to redeem.
We ask for mercy — not just for them, but for us.

If we cannot love our neighbor,
if we cannot see the worth in the least of these,
then we have lost the heart You gave us.

Heal us, Lord.
Heal the heart of our nation.
Restore compassion where it has gone cold.
And let Your mercy run like a river through the streets
until every soul knows they are seen, known, and loved.

Amen.
